Saint Francis University has recently been selected as a Military Friendly School for 2011. 

This honor is given to the top 15% of all schools nationwide.  At Saint Francis University, we have a steadfast commitment to educating our great nation's military Veterans. 

Veterans Day 2011

Veterans, Cadets, and current military personnel came together to commemorate Veterans Day 2010 to recognize the sacrifices of servicemembers past and present: Br. Chris Baumann,SHBT, Dr. Stephen Rombouts, ROTC Cadet, Ray Ponchione, Dr. Patricia Fitzgerald, Army Officer.

The Department of Military Affairs at Saint Francis University is dedicated to representing those that have, and those that continue to serve a grateful nation.


The Military Affairs Department is responsible for:

Educating veteran-students on Federal and State programs that are in place to assist with funding an education. This includes but is not limited to Veterans Affairs and ROTC benefits.

· Assisting Veterans with the application, financial aid, and scheduling processes at Saint Francis.

· Educating veterans about physical and mental health services that are provided on campus and through the surrounding communities.

· Overseeing the Army ROTC curriculum as Acting Liaison for the program on campus.

· Certifying veteran enrollment to the University.

· Chairing the Veterans Roundtable. Please refer to the link to the left for more information.
