- Make the grades!
- Begin your experiential learning (internships, co-ops, practicums).
- Network with alumni and other professionals in your field.
- Participate in departmental activities.
- Continue your leadership role on campus.
- Further develop realistic goals, beliefs, values.
- Gather information about graduate/professional schools.
- Prepare and register for the GRE, LSAT or GMAT if necessary.
- Apply for scholarships.
- Update your resume before your final year. Career Services can help!
- Consider all career options/avenues within your major/minor.
- Attend job fairs, career workshops and events to prepare and practice.
- Become familiar with the Career Services Office - your connection to job leads and assistance.
- Conduct research on companies for whom you want to work. Stop by the Career Resource Center to look at job search guides, resume books, job banks and more!
- Schedule a mock interview to fine-tune your interviewing skills.
- Remember: this is the final year before you graduate, so get prepared, but have fun, too!
