- Familiarize yourself with the university resources and support systems.
- Experience a variety of courses to help you determine your area of interest.
- Get to know your professors, especially in your field of interest.
- Study and make the grades!
- Know what's going on. Read the bulletin boards and campus newspaper.
- Join an organization to begin your professional development.
- Attend Career Days and other related career/events and workshops.
- Schedule an appointment with Career Services, 302 Scotus, to talk about occupations and take an interest inventory.
- Ask yourself: What are my goals? What do I want to accomplish at Saint Francis University and beyond?
- Think about applying for positions on campus (work study, tutor).
- Remember: if you don't know or need help with anything - ASK!
