Individuals may register for classes (see schedule of classes) in any of these convenient ways: mail, Internet, Fax, phone or in person.
Payment for Courses
Tuition is payable before the start of the semester. Payments may be made via cash, check, credit card via the Internet, or enrollment in a payment plan. See additional information below regarding credit card payments and the payment plan options. If an individual receives employer reimbursement for tuition, a copy of the tuition remission letter must be sent to the business office EACH semester. Inquiries about billing should be directed to the business office at (814) 472-3006.
Credit Card Payments
Effective August 1, 2004, all credit card payments for tuition will be processed through the Internet at www.francis.edu. There will be a convenience fee assessed by our resource partner, Tuition Management Systems, for this service.
Payment Plan Options
Students can participate in one of the Tuition Management Systems monthly payment plans. The interest-free monthly payment option enables students to spread all or part of annual, or semester, expenses over equal monthly payments. There are no interest charges and only fee of $55.00 for an annual contract or $40.00 for a semester contract. Payment of tuition is payable before the start of the semester. Payments may be made via cash, check, enrollment in a payment plan or credit card via the Internet. A late charge of 1.25% per month will be assessed on any unpaid balance. Individuals who have an unpaid balance exceeding the cost of a 3 credit course will not be permitted to register for the following semester.
Textbook charges are additional and must be paid in full upon receipt of the book(s). Books can be purchased at the University bookstore. If a student is unable to purchase books at the bookstore, he/she may have the books mailed and will be assessed an additional charge for postal delivery of books. The University bookstore phone number is 472-3170.
