2009 Summer Research Post-Survey Link to Summer Research Application Summer science research at SFU is a wonderful way to enhance your educational experience, gain valuable academic knowledge and research techniques, make connections with course work and actually be a part of creating and developing knowledge that can contribute to future studies for years to come! The number of slots available to students each year varies, but all students are encouraged to apply for summer research. Most research lasts 8 weeks, beginning in mid-May and concluding in early July. Research students are required to develop a research poster and present it during the summer research symposium. Spend a summer at the SFU campus this summer, and gain valuable experiences for life.
