JUNIOR (2009): Yearwood posted the best season of his career, recording 133 carries for 518 rushing yards and five total touchdowns in 2009… Appeared in all 11 games as a junior, with double-digit touches in eight of those contests… improved his yards per game average from 32.9 in 2008 to 47.0 in 2009… scored his first career touchdown against Morehead State on an 18-yard reception (9/12)… scored his first career rushing touchdown against Wagner on a two-yard run (9/26)… had first career multi-score game against Wagner, recording two touchdowns (9/26)… recorded his second career 100-yard game against Wagner, rushing for 118 yards (9/26)… recorded a career-high 167 rushing yards against Duquesne on just 23 carries for an average of 7.3 yards per carry, in addition to one rushing touchdown (10/24)… those 167 yards marked the season-high for the Red Flash, and included a career-long 65-yard run for Yearwood (10/26)… against Duquesne, teamed with Kyle Harbridge to become the first Red Flash tandem since Todd Harris and Rickey Taylor in 2004 to each record 100+ rushing yards; both backs exceeded 150 rushing yards (10/26)… recorded his 1000th career rushing yard.

SOPHOMORE (2008): A strong running back for the Flash in 2008…Appeared in all 11 games…In 111 attempts, Yearwood gained 386 yards, with a net gain of 350…Averaged 32.3 yards/game rushing…Had 10 receptions for 74 yards…Averaged 7.4 yards a game receiving…Had career/season highs in rushing attempts and yards against Robert Morris with 27 and 106 yards, respectively (11/15).

FRESHMAN (2007): After redshirting in 2006, Yearwood made an immediate impact during freshman season… expected to be one of SFU’s top returners on special teams as well as an impact running back in 2008… ranked second in the NEC with 472 kick return yards and a 20.5-yard kick return average… ran for 150 yards on 22 carries (6.8 average) in final three games of season… returned 6 kicks for 106 yards at Liberty (9/29/07)… returned 5 kicks for season/career high 127 yards, including a season/career long of 30 yards, vs. CCSU (10/6/07)… carried the ball 5 times for a career-high 88 yards, including a run of 73 yards, and returned 3 kicks for 70 yards at Wagner (11/10/07)… carried the ball a season/career high 10 times for 30 yards at La Salle (11/17/07)… Marketing major.
