- we educate and connect with resources around 2,000 people, schools, municipalities, and businesses a year - helping them save money
- we've sponsored research by 8 REC faculty from business, sociology, biology, computer science and math
- over 30 Saint Francis students have gotten real-life work and research experience as interns, work studies and graduate assistants
- we've innovated new ways to get business and environmental people collaborating to responsibly develop energy solutions
- we've attracted new business to Pennsylvania
- we've connected Pennsylvania with national and international experts, researchers, manufacturers
- we've put the idea of COMMUNITY-BASED ENERGY development on the kitchen table and the policy table in Harrisburg

We work hard to support community-based renewable energy projects by providing superb technical assistance and educational opportunities. The Center is part of Saint Francis University's Business School and is housed at the University's Small Business Development Center. Center Makes Wind Data Available to the Public Wind data is valuable not only for project development but also to better understand the wind resource across a particular region, for climatologists, and for wildlife conservationists interested in how birds use the wind. The Center has created a way to make its analyzed and raw wind data available to the public and other professional organizations. Community Wind Project is Open for Applications The Center's very popular wind assessment program, the Community Wind Project, is again accepting applications. The Project offers wind assessment at no upfront cost to public and private entities owning land in Pennsylvania. Harvest the wind for your community or business.
