Welcome to the Department of Physical Therapy. Whether you are a high school student contemplating applying to college or you have obtained your bachelors degree and considering a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, there is a Saint Francis University application to suit your needs. I hope this virtual visit is interesting, informative, and motivates you to seek more information about physical therapy education at Saint Francis University.

We offer a contemporary curriculum that leads to a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Our committed, dynamic, and diverse physical therapy faculty offers personalized attention to students that assists them in acquiring the knowledge, skills and professional demeanor of a caring and compassionate health care provider. All full-time department faculty hold Master’s degrees, four are doctorally prepared, one is in pursuit of a doctoral degree, and two are orthopedic certified specialists (OCS). The full-time faculty are complemented by the work of more than 25 adjunct faculty, lab instructors, and guest lecturers from the local and regional areas and from around the nation. A competent and caring office staff assists us.

Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is enthusiastically supported and encouraged. Our students participate in numerous APTA and Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association (PPTA) events.
