Men’s Soccer Battles CCSU to Scoreless Tie, Seven Match Unbeaten Streak Intact
BERLIN, Conn. (Oct. 14, 2005) – Saint Francis University out shot Central Connecticut State, 16-15, but couldn’t put one past the Blue Devils in a 0-0 scoreless draw at Sage Park in Berlin, Conn., Friday afternoon.
Saint Francis (5-3-3, 1-0-2 NEC) is unbeaten in its last seven matches dating back to September 15. The Red Flash have outscored their opponents, 14-2, during the seven-match streak.
Two-time Northeast Conference Rookie-of-the-Week Kwame Adjeman-Pamboe (Greenbelt, Md.), along with sophomore Jeremy Tice (Littleton, Colo.), led the Red Flash offense with three shots apiece. Sophomore Jarron Brooks (Mitchellville, Md.) posted two shots of goal.
Senior goalkeeper Bobby Pipech (Broadheadsville, Pa.) made five saves to for his fifth shutout of the season.
The Red Flash take on Quinnipiac at 1:00 p.m., Sunday.
