Sophomore Year (2006-07)
Jackson contributed in a defensive role during his first season with the Red Flash, playing in 14 games in 2006-07...made his Division I debut in SFU’s 94-60 season-opening win over Lock Haven (11/18/06). In five minutes of action, he had 1 rebound and 2 assists...scored 2 points on 2-of-2 shooting at foul line, and added 2 steals in 7 minutes at Sacred Heart (12/9/06)...had 1 point and 2 rebounds at LIU (1/13/07).
Freshman Year (at Lon Morris Junior College | 2005-06)
Saw limited action on a powerful Lon Morris College team that finished 25-7...was named to the Dean’s List.
Plainfield Central HS
Starred at Plainfield Central High School, where he led the Wildcats to a conference title during his senior year...was voted as a No. 1 all-area player and the conference MVP senior season...as an all-conference player, Jackson received best defense award, and the best rebounding award...was selected to play in the Windy City Classic All-Star game, and the City vs. Suburban All-Star game...was voted MVP/Inside Force and First Team All-Tournament while leading the Wildcats to the Lemont Christmas Tournament title...helped Plainfield receive a No. 2 ranking in the Chicago Sun Times, and a No. 1 ranking in the Joliet Herald...averaged 18.4 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 3.6 apg, and 3.4 spg senior season...ranked fourth in the area in scoring, and second in rebounding...tied school record for most rebounds in a game (18)...was a high school honor roll student.
