Boyer returns as the starting goalkeeper in 2008 after a successful debut as the No. 1 keeper in 2007… will serve as a Student-Athlete Mentor in 2008-09… started all 19 matches in 2007, and registered 7 shutouts, second most for a single-season in program history… had a 1.17 goals against average and a .765 save percentage… her 3.95 saves per game ranked sixth in the NEC… stopped 2 shots and picked up first career shutout against Northeastern (9/2/07)… registered first home shutout and stopped 1 shot against Howard (9/5/07)… made 4 saves in picking up third consecutive shutout against Canisius (9/7/07)… stopped 7 shots against St. Bonaventure (9/16/07)… stopped 5 shots in a scoreless tie against Youngstown State (9/28/07)… made 6 saves in another scoreless tie against Quinnipiac (10/14/07)… made a career high 8 saves against Monmouth (10/28/07)… played 45 minutes in collegiate debut at St. Bonaventure (9/22/06)... all-Section IV and All-Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) selection at goalkeeper at Mount Lebanon High School in 2005… helped the Blue Devils to an 18-6-2 overall record, a runner-up finish in the WPIAL Class AAA Tournament, and a state quarterfinal appearance last fall… Saint Francis Dean’s List and Academic Honor Roll selection every semester… NEC Academic Honor Roll selection... Engineering major.
