History Program

History Club

The Saint Francis University History Club is a group of students dedicated to the study of history through promoting historical awareness and building community and leadership skills amongst members.

Membership/Officers:
We need you! Membership is open to any major: it is not limited to history alone. Any student taking courses in history or students who have an interest in the history field are invited to join.  If you are interested in becoming a member of the History Club, please email us at twhisler@francis.edu.

Events:
In the past, the History Club has sponsored  trips to sites such as Gettysburg and the Senator John Heinz Regional Pittsburgh History Museum in Pittsburgh.

The History Club has great expectations for future activities that will involve the entire Saint Francis University community.  For the current semester, the History Club is planning outreach programs to local high schools and also a trip to a local historical landmark.

News and announcements of these activities will be posted here, so visit again soon for information!
