Testimonial - September 2007
I wanted to take an opportunity to highlight to you how important I believe "Greek" life is for students at SFU. I am an alumni of SFU. I pledged [Fraternity]. Not only did it provide teaching in regards to team building..It provided me with skills that have been needed throughout my careers both as a social worker and in nursing. Mandatory group work is crucial in most careers. Taking initiative, providing input, putting hard work, time, and support to a group can enhance the potential for success to an ultimate level. I have received many, many awards, recognitions and nominations in my career for my work with teams. I credit SFU and the experience I had with the fraternity, [Fraternity]. My daughter [...] presently is attending SFU and has enjoyed her involvement with the [Sorority]. I have witnessed the same growth in [daughter] that I experienced myself as a student at SFU. It has been partly due to her efforts to pledge, join and remain involved with this sorority. Please know that this learning experience can continue to create an atmosphere towards discovering so many opportunities for growth.

Greek life has played an important role in my son's experience at Saint Francis University. It has turned him into an exceptional young adult with great moral values. He now makes mature decisions in his life and his career. He has become very family oriented and his outlook on life is more diverse.
