TEGA CAY, S.C. (March 17, 2007) – The Saint Francis University women’s golf team stands in 14^th place out of 16 teams after day one of the rain-shortened Winthrop Shamrock Invitational.  As a team, the Red Flash shot 369 on the day, one stroke behind 13^th-place Belmont Abbey College and three strokes behind 12^th-place Longwood.  The entry from Elon University paced the field, shooting 323.

SFU’s Megan Schaeffer turned in the team’s top performance, finishing the day tied for 24^th place overall while shooting an 85.  Samantha Milosh stands in a tie for 39^th place with an 88.

Rounding out the Flash were Lisa Kocin (T-61, 94), Stephanie Switzer (T-80, 102), and Katelyn Waghorn (86, 106).
