KUTZTOWN, Pa. (April 21, 2007) – The Saint Francis University women’s golf team pulled out of a day-one, first-place tie with Lehigh to claim the Kutztown University Spring Invitational team title with a collective score of 668 (339-329).  Runner-up Lehigh finished with an overall score of 674 (339-335).

Saint Francis junior Samantha Milosh (Aliquippa, Pa./Center) fired a blistering 76 in the second round to jump from fifth place to claim the individual title with a score of 160 (84-76).

Two other Red Flash earned top-ten individual finishes in the event.  Second place went to senior Megan Schaeffer (Richland, Pa. / Eastern Lebanon) (161 (83-78)) and freshman Lisa Kocin (Parma, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) (166 (82-84)) walked away in a tie for fourth place.

Freshman Katelyn Waghorn (Basking Ridge, N.J. / Ridge) (184 (90-94)) and junior Stephanie Switzer (Beaver, Pa. / Beaver) (190 (99-91)) rounded out the scoring for the Flash.
