Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management

Saint Francis University invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin Fall 2012. Ph.D in Human Resource Management or Labor Relations, or closely related doctoral degree preferred; Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or Labor Relations in required. Record of highly effective teaching, scholarship, and service. Teaches graduate and undergraduate Human Resource Management/Labor Relations courses, plus other business courses as needed, during the day and evenings. Excellent interpersonal skills and must work collaboratively with others. Willingness to serve on School and University committees. Successful experience with distance learning initiatives a plus.

Faculty, Physical Therapy - Neurorehabilitation

12-month tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor with a competitive salary and benefits package. The position is available for the 2012/2013 academic year.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have experiential knowledge and clinical expertise primarily in Neuromuscular Differential Diagnosis and Rehabilitation. In addition, teaching and clinical expertise in Acute Care, Amputee/Prosthetic Management, and/or Wound Care is also desired. A physical therapist with a doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DSc) is required for this faculty position. An applicant with Clinical Specialist certification in neurology, pediatrics or geriatrics will be given priority review. The candidate must be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania, with a 5 year minimum teaching, clinical and/or research experience. Opportunities within the Position: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual interested in teaching primarily in the program's regressive neuromuscular curriculum. Pediatrics and acute care practice are also potential areas of teaching in this faculty role. The flexible nature of this position also offers the successful applicant the possibility of directing student research projects, as well as opportunities to engage in an existing or new research agenda through the Human Performance Laboratory in the DiSepio Institute for Rural Health and Wellness. Individual scholarly endeavors may be enhanced by the potential to develop research partnerships through collaboration with the Center of Excellence for Remote and Medically Underserved Areas (CERMUSA). Faculty-led clinical practice opportunities are also available through our on-campus clinic at the Institute for Rehabilitation. In addition, the successful candidate is highly encouraged to participate in service to the university through committee involvement, student advisement, and community outreach activities.

Part-time evening, part-time day, and/or on-line instructors needed to teach in accounting and management information systems next fall and spring. A master’s degree in the particular academic discipline or the MBA is the minimum academic credential; Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Management or Accounting is preferred. Special consideration will be given to accounting faculty applicants possessing either the CPA or CMA. Five or more years of professional experience in each area is required. Assistant Director of the Online Marketing Strategy

This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and would be responsible for creating content for the University's web and social media presence. Duties may also include creating multi-channel online/interactive content for landing pages, HTML e-mails, social media and other initiatives; providing recommendations for emerging online marketing opportunities and implementing tracking metrics for marketing campaigns.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an interactive marketing position with a strong writing background is desired. Higher education marketing experience preferred.

Assistant Coach, Strength and Conditioning

Saint Francis University invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Coach, Strength and Conditioning.  The Assistant Coach, Strength and Conditioning reports to the Head Coach, Strength and Conditioning.  Responsible for assisting with designing and implementing of strength and conditioning programs for the university's 22 Division I programs and the cheerleading program.  In addition, this individual will assist with scheduling and maintaining training areas, and coordinating education programs for coaches, staff and the general university community.  Candidates must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the NEC and the NCAA.

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree Preferred. Must possess knowledge and ability to design and implement strength and conditioning programs at the Division I level.  Must also possess excellent communication skills, computer skills and expereince working with men's and women's basketball.  CSCS or SCCC certification required; USAW preferred.

Associate Director, Student Athlete Academic Services

Police Captain
Search Status: Interviewing 

The Police Captain serves as principal advisor regarding law enforcement operations. Key areas of concentration include; protection of students and campus assets, department oversight and leadership, primary investigator, incident management, training of all necessary qulifications and certifications of officers as well as developing emergency response procedures and conducting training and drills to ensure readiness.

This is a uniformed position and the Captain will be expected to perform duties of an officer as well.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and education in criminal justice or a related field.  At least five years work experience in law enforcement or public safety required (higher education experience preferred). Strong supervisory skills, advanced training and experience in criminal investigations, working knowledge of law enforcement activities, facility security, crime prevention, police records maintenance, traffic safety and enforcement, and a working knowledge of local, state and federal laws as applied to university law enforcement.  Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills and a valid driver's license are also required.

Must be committed to a philosophy of providing friendly, knowledgeable service.
