A four-week lifestyle improvement program that helps individuals identify everyday stressors and teaches specific relaxation techniques to evoke relaxation and reduce and manage stress.
Dates: Sept. 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21
Time: 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Location: Saint Francis Hall, Room 110
Instructor: Ann Scheurer
Open to faculty, staff, students and the general public. There is no fee for Highmark members or students, and a nominal fee for non-Highmark members.
Discover Relaxation Within II (Employees, students and general public)
A four-week lifestyle improvement program that is a continuation of Discover Relaxation Within I.
Dates: Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 11, 18
Time: 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Open to faculty, staff, students and the general public. There is no fee for Highmark members or students, and a nominal fee for non-Highmark members.
Eat Well for Life I (Employees, students and general public)
A four-week lifestyle improvement program promoting wellness and long-term weight management through balanced nutrition, cooking demonstrations, and other hands-on experiences.
Dates: Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22
Time: 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Location: Raymond Hall, Room 123

Eat Well for Life II (Employees, students and general public)
A four-week lifestyle improvement program that is a continuation of Eat Well for Life I.

Clear the Air (Employees, students and general public)
Are you thinking about quitting smoking? Whether this is your first attempt or you've quit before, this one-session program can give you the tools you need to get prepared, take action, stay motivated and quit for good!
Dates: Oct. 15 or Nov. 10 (two offerings)
Time: 5 to 7 p.m.

HOPE (Highmark Osteoporosis Prevention and Education Program)

A program that focuses on healthy choices to prevent or manage osteoporosis.
Dates: Oct. 16, 23, 30, Nov. 6, 13, 20
Time: 5 to 7 p.m.
Location: Stokes Athletics Center, Twyman Room

Open to faculty, staff, students and the general public. There is no fee for Highmark members or students, and a nominal fee for non-Highmark members.
Personal Nutrition Coaching (Employees, students and general public)
A personalized program designed by a registered dietitian to address the needs of an individual seeking nutrition counseling related to weight management, heart health or diabetes.
Private sessions offered year round to adults and children. Call for a personalized appointment, (814) 472-2783.
Open to faculty, staff, students and the general public. There is no fee for Highmark members and a nominal fee for non-Highmark members. (Non-Highmark SFU students will be charged a nominal fee for PNC.)
