MISSION STATEMENT The Counseling Center will reflect the mission statement of the University and the Division of Student Development, while blending the professional standards and guidelines outlined in the CAS Standards. The Counseling Center will provide assessment, intervention, treatment, and referral for psychological and emotional difficulties to all full-time students. Educational programming will be offered to the campus, focusing on key student development issues and reflecting concern for the holistic health and wellness of students and staff. Counseling Center staff will be available to the entire college community for consultation, intervention planning, and referral information. Promotional activity will support high visability to the Center, encouraging and supporting early intervention and utilization by the entire campus community. |
