UNIVERSITY POLICE

Citation & Traffic Violation Appeal Process

Appeals to parking violations are heard by The Parking Appeal Board which is comprised of a student, faculty or staff member and the Chief of Police.   Review Board hearings are informal and held in the Director's office on a monthly basis during each semester.  Members of the University community are provided an opportunity to explain circumstances regarding the issued citation.  Results of the Parking and Traffic Review Hearing will be documented in writing and forwarded to the student or faculty or staff member originally requesting the appeal.  The decision of the Parking and Traffic Review Board is final.

Questions concerning procedures or interpretations of parking rules and regulations should be referred to the University Police Chief, Ground Floor of Raymond Hall, 472-3360.

The appeal form may be printed by clicking here.  It must be turned in to the Police Office before the five (5) day limit is up

No appeals will be reviewed after five (5) business days from the date the citation was issued
