Vision Statement
God’s word declares, “Be holy, as I am holy.” Saint Francis Campus Ministry responds to this divine call as it seeks to build up our University as a “School of Holiness”. St. Francis of Assisi zealously desired to follow in the footsteps of Christ in all things. Motivated by this penitential example, Saint Francis University embraces its Catholic identity by rooting itself in this wonderful tradition.
Through evangelization, catechesis and loving Catholic service to others we proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in liturgy, academics, social events, athletics, and in all areas of campus life. In this way the Spirit of God empowers students to faithfully learn and fervently live the radical nature of the gospel in ordinary life.
As a community of faith and love we strive to inspire conversion as we endeavor to meet the spiritual and pastoral needs of our university, especially as they are reflected in our goals of Franciscan education. For we believe that the greatest success in life can only be found by following the will of God.
