Cooperative Center for Study Abroad
The Cooperative Center for Study Abroad is a consortium of 24 schools throughout the nation with study abroad programs and internships in English speaking countries. CCSA offers interesting classes in a variety of disciplines so that students can choose courses specific to their academic needs. Courses are taught by professors of universities that are members of CCSA, so students can choose to participate in a program with an SFU professor or to take a class with a professor from another university.
For more detailed information about CCSA and all if the programs, visit the website below.
"Traveling to Dublin, Ireland and London, England was an absolutely amazing experience I will never forget. I never thought I'd see New Years Eve fireworks in London while taking a psychology class. It is definitely possible to have fun and learn on a CCSA trip!"
Charity Eckman, Psychology/OT Major, Class of 2007/2008
"My experience in Australia was amazing because I earned credits from an ultimate classroom setting of scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, traipsing through the Cairnes rainforests, and hanging out at Sydney Bay. Also, I met and formed lasting friendships with a terrific group of students from across the US."
Jill Krempecki, Physician Assistant/Spanish Major, Class of 2007
