Course Offerings by Semester Registration for courses will open 30 days prior to the start of the semester. Cost per credit $362.00 (2009-2010 school year) Effective August 2009 Laboratory fees and Textbook requirements are additional. $351/credit (2008-2009 year) Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology and Anatomy and Physiology courses include laboratory experiences. Students will receive a home laboratory kit from LabPaq after they have registered for the course. Please review the Lab Experience Document outlining the lab fees and necessary materials specific to each lab experience to be certain that you have access to the required supplemental materials. This is an intensive class with reading, written assignments, discussions, and quizzes/exams. We will cover 3 -5 chapters from the book per week. It will require approximately 25 hours per week. There is also a lab component that requires performing lab experiments and dissections. The lab would probably require about an additional 10 hours per week.
Please review the requirements for the biology laboratory experience to be certain that you will be able to complete the experiments where you are located.
Students will be required to obtain the course materials several weeks prior to the start of class. Access to the course will be open one week prior to the course to allow the student to begin navigating through the system.
