Saint Francis Announces Schedule and Ticket Information for EIVA Playoff Match

LORETTO, Pa. – While the Saint Francis men’s volleyball team is preparing for a pair of non-conference battles at Ohio State tonight (Friday) and at Ball State on Saturday, the team’s sites are set on the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association’s playoffs.

The Red Flash will close out the regular season this weekend, but will host an EIVA playoff match for the second straight season. Saint Francis is currently 14-12 overall, but secured the third seed in the EIVA playoffs with a 7-5 league mark. The Flash will play host to the winner of the No. 6 versus No. 7 seed, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at DeGol Arena. Tickets for the EIVA playoff match will cost $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children.

Playoff positions are still being fought for this weekend, but the opening round of the tournament will be held on Wednesday night at the site of the highest seed. Saint Francis secured a first round bye in clinching the third seed.

SFU has now made the EIVA playoffs six straight years, and will host a playoff match for the third time in the last four seasons. The Red Flash have made two trips to the EIVA championship match in the last three years.
