Alexander Resigns As Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach To Return To Alma Mater
LORETTO, Pa. (July 7, 2008) – Saint Francis University head women’s basketball coach Susan Robinson Fruchtl has announced that assistant coach Kristeena Alexander has submitted her letter of resignation to return to her alma mater, George Washington University, as an assistant coach.
A search for Alexander’s replacement has already begun.
“I am very disappointed to see Kristeena leave our staff,” said Robinson Fruchtl. “However, this is a wonderful opportunity for her to return to her alma mater and coach a Top-25 team. We wish her the best of luck at George Washington.”
Alexander oversaw the development of the Red Flash guards, while also serving as the team’s recruiting coordinator. She spent three seasons on Debbie Taneyhill’s staff at George Mason before coming to Saint Francis.
