Piscataway, N.J. (October 13, 2007) – The Red Flash women’s golf team finished in 15th place at the Rutgers Invitational, held at the Rutgers Golf Course.  Saint Francis bettered their first-day output by a total of 32 strokes, trimming their aggregate from 365 to 333 for a team toal of 698.

Leading the way for the Red Flash once again was senior Samantha Milosh (Aliquippa, Pa./Center) inking a sublime 74 in round two of play, just one stroke off the tournament low score of 73.  Milosh’s total of 161 (87-74) after 36 holes landed her T-15th on the final leaderboard.  Caryn Doege (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) improved upon her first round of 94 by dropping 12 strokes off her score for an 82, earning her T-62nd with a 36-hole sum of 176.  Sophomore Lisa Kocin (Parma, Ohio / Padua Franciscan) sawed nine stokes off of her original 93 by carding an 84, landing her T-67th.  Freshman Kaitlin Hensal (Seville, Ohio/Wadsworth) went from a 98 on Friday to an 88 on Saturday, inking her at 83rd

Bethune-Cookman College ended up bringing home the title with a team total of 624 (318-306). Yale University shot a total of 633 (329-304) for second place and St. John's University finished in third with a team total of 642 (337-305).

The Red Flash look utilized their rounds on this course in preparation for the 3rd Annual Mount Saint Mary's University Fall Classic at Quail Valley Golf Course in Littlestown, Pa. on Friday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20.  This is their final tournament of the fall slate.
