Saint Francis University presents the Dr. John Powers Outstanding Educator Award to a deserving elementary or secondary teacher or administrator each spring. This year, the university presented the award to three outstanding Cambria Heights educators during the Saint Francis University President's Awards Convocation on April 30, 2024.

Saint Francis University is pleased to announce the plan for its in-person 173rd Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 11, and Sunday, May 12, 2022.

42nd Annual Red Mass / Law Day is set for Friday, April 26. The 2024 Law Day theme will be “Voices of Democracy” with keynote speaker Judge Mary Jane Bowes. Learn more and RSVP.

The Board of Trustees of Saint Francis University, at its March 15, 2024 meeting, voted to grant the following promotions and tenures as recommended by the Committee on Promotions and the Committee on Tenure.

On Friday, October 20, 2023, Saint Francis University celebrated the Blessing and Dedication of Saint Margaret Hall. The facility, bearing the name of St. Margaret of Cortona, will primarily serve Occupational Therapy and Physician Assistant Science majors and is scheduled to open in January 2024.

Saint Francis University has appointed Brianna Pavkovich of Rockwood, PA, the inaugural director of the university's newest workforce development initiative, the Aviation Maintenance Technician certificate program. As the new director, her first duties include guiding the program through the FAA approval process with the goal of beginning classes in Fall 2024. 

Ava Dzurenda, Features Editor for The Troubadour, published an insightful look into the significance of bells on campus and the journey that brought this particular bell to its new home. Ava is a junior Exercise Physiology and Science Writing double major with a minor in Communications. She is from White Oak, Pennsylvania.

Saint Francis University has announced the election of four new members to its Board of Trustees for four-year terms, beginning this fall.
